THE STUDIO

Andrault is a design studio founded in 2026, rooted in a sensitive and sustainable approach to industrial design. The studio explores how objects can be designed with care, both in terms of their lifespan and the resources they engage. From the earliest stages of each project, particular attention is given to real industrialisation conditions. Each object is developed by integrating technical constraints, manufacturing processes, and material choices, ensuring coherence between design intent and production. Each project seeks to establish a balance between technical relevance, material accuracy, and environmental responsibility. Here, innovation is not an end in itself, but a means in service of durability. Through a process that values observation, experimentation, and making, Andrault designs objects intended to integrate naturally into everyday life, while supporting more conscious and sustainable ways of living.

THE DESIGNER

Eliot Andrault is an industrial designer trained at ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels. He approaches design as a continuous process, from early ideas through to industrialisation. His work is rooted in a close observation of everyday uses, with a focus on how objects are actually handled, adapted, and sometimes diverted from their intended use. Rather than looking for quick answers, he takes time to understand contexts, constraints, and materials. He is particularly interested in materiality, how things are made, how long they last, and their overall impact. He works across all stages of a project, linking form, function, and production to develop coherent and realistic objects. His practice relies heavily on experimentation, testing, adjusting, prototyping, and learning by making. The goal is not to overdesign, but to create thoughtful objects that naturally fit into everyday life and, in a simple way, support more sustainable uses.
